Jennifer Raper-Willis
Jennifer has spent over 15 years working in the UK university sector, and has extensive experience in assisting international students to navigate the UK’s complex immigration system, as well as in supporting their cultural and well-being transition into life in Britain.
Inspired by her many years of pastoral work with international students and also in response to bumps and personal challenges in her own life journey, Jennifer took the big decision to train as a psychotherapist. She is now at an advanced stage of her clinical training and accreditation in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and has a small private psychotherapy practice in Sussex in the UK.
Jennifer has also undertaken specialist training in areas including personality disorders, domestic violence, self-harm and suicidality. Her non-clinical qualifications include two Masters: French and modern languages & cultural identity.
Underpinning her counselling and psychotherapy work, Jennifer is of the belief that human beings are inherently relational, co-operative, growth-seeking and … with a natural aspiration towards autonomy.
