Rachel More
For as far back as she can remember, Rachel grew up to the sound of music constantly playing, her mum always singing or humming along to the radio as she bustled around in the kitchen.
At 14... after unintentionally auditioning for a lead part in The Wizard of Oz… she was told she had a good voice but should “get it properly trained to get the best out of it.” A comment that cemented Rachel’s love of learning and training which continues to this day.
Following university she spent 10 years in the corporate sector in London though never quite understood why she never really felt fulfilled either professionally or emotionally.
Rachel once again turned to singing and performing and… soon realised that this was what made the big difference in her life. Her ‘a-ah’ moment came one day shortly after her 30th birthday while commuting to work, and she made the decision to embrace her musicality and try to make a living completely out of the one thing she loved doing the most.
Rachel became a full-time professional singer embracing a variety of genres, including musical theatre, pop and jazz.
Concurrently, since 2008 Rachel has been a vocal coach, and is passionate about helping those who have never dared sing to uncover their voice and get the best out of it… quite simply, Rachel says “singing is good for you.”
I’m grateful to have
outdoor space in the place where I live.
